Kathleen Carroll, 2023 Communicator of the Year   

Kathleen Carroll, editor of the Comboni Missions magazine and a Communications Specialist for the Sisters of Divine Providence, divides her time working for two Catholic religious communities, with all the joy, challenges and competing projects that presents. 

“Katie meets every deadline, from editing a video to publishing a magazine to designing a Christmas card,” wrote her nominator. “But professionalism isn’t just about balancing workload, it’s also about maintaining relationships. Katie is more than just an editor for the Comboni Missionaries — she’s a writer, fundraiser, project planner, photographer and friend.”

Recently, Kathleen helped facilitate a new relationship between the sisters and the missionaries.
